About Us  

    Evansdale, Iowa is a peaceful community adjacent to the City of Waterloo, Iowa. With a population just under 5000 residents, we provide the serenity of a "small town" with the advantage of being in close proximity to a larger Iowa Community.
    Dedicated to the preservation of life and property and the prevention of fires through education and inspection, the Evansdale Fire Rescue provides Fire, Rescue and Advanced Care EMS services to the residents of the City of Evansdale. In addition to Evansdale, the Fire Rescue provides Rescue and Advanced Care EMS services and mutual aid Fire assistance to the cities of Raymond and Gilbertville in Black Hawk County along with a portion of rural Black Hawk County.
    Answering over 650 calls for service every year, the members of Evansdale Fire Rescue are highly trained and motivated individuals who are dedicated to providing the highest quality service to their neighbors in need.
